trip of a lifetime to The Gambia for Soul in Africa, 11th Anniversary 2026
Carnival Edition.

The Gambia is a West African Country bounded by Senegal, with an Atlantic
coastline. It is known for its abundant wildlife which includes leopards, hyenas,
hippos and rare birds.

Its capital is Banjul and nearby Serrekunda offers access to beaches.
Firstly, to ensure your trip is a memorable one we must make sure that you are
aware of the inoculations you will need.

These are:
● Yellow Fever Injection
● Malaria Tablets
● Hepatitis A Booster

Your GP or any Immunisation clinic can confirm exactly what is
needed; and we highly recommend that any inoculation needed is done 4 to 5
weeks before travelling.

If you are fully vaccinated:
Fully vaccinated passengers arriving from the UK do not require a negative PCR
COVID-19 test to enter The Gambia. You must show proof of vaccination. To enter
The Gambia, you may be asked to submit to a Rapid Diagnostic Test. If found
positive, you will be quarantined at a government facility at your own cost until your
test returns a negative result.

Development and Security Fee:
A compulsory Airport Security Fee must be paid upon entering and exiting
the country. The fee is £20, or equivalent in euros, sterling or local currency.
This will be collected via marked kiosks in Banjul International Airport. Visa
credit card is accepted.

The above also applies in exiting the country. The fee is £20, or equivalent
in local currency. ‘Visa credit card’ is accepted, but no others.

Carnival Street Party- Gambian colours: Red, Blue, White and Green
Soul Train Night - Dress in 70's and 80's clothes. dig out your
bell bottoms and high waisters as we step back in time.
Wakanda Night - African clothing themed night.
A Boat Party - £50 Limited Seats Available - included lunch and partying
until sunset near one of the beaches in Gambia.
Look Sexy in Red Party - Wear “red” attire.
Roots Tour - £75 supplement.
You will be required to leave the hotel in the morning, where you will be
taken to the river. On arrival we will proceed by boat to the ‘Kunta Kinte’
Island. Lunch is included.
